Before choosing, distinguish the type of installation: a shower screen encloses a shower tray, while a bathtub screen is installed on the edge of the bathtub and is usually frontal with one or more sliding or hinged panels.
Sliding screens are the most practical option in small spaces, because the panels slide without encroaching on the rest of the bathroom. Hinged screens open outwards and make better use of the shower's interior space. Corner models enclose two sides when the shower is in a corner.
At MerkiMarket, most GME models feature 6 to 10mm tempered glass with EnduroShield anti-limescale treatment, which reduces limescale and facilitates cleaning. Many are available custom-made, with adjustable width ranges, for non-standard openings.
